Our commitment
Everyone who works with or for Radiant must do so freely, safely and with dignity. We will not knowingly work with any organization that engages in or profits from human trafficking or forced labor.
This policy is approved by company leadership and applies across all of our operations and practice areas.
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to all Radiant directors, officers, employees, contractors and temporary staff, and we expect the same standards from our subcontractors, suppliers, recruitment agencies, partners and other business associates.
Laws we follow
We comply with all applicable laws prohibiting human trafficking and forced labor, including the U.S. Trafficking Victims Protection Act, the anti-trafficking requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 52.222-50) when we work on U.S. government contracts, applicable state laws, and, where they apply, the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and similar laws in other countries.
What is prohibited
Radiant and anyone working on our behalf must never:
- Engage in, support or benefit from human trafficking, slavery, servitude or forced or compulsory labor
- Use child labor, as defined by applicable law and international standards
- Charge workers recruitment fees or require them to pay for the right to work
- Destroy, conceal, confiscate or deny a worker’s access to their identity or immigration documents
- Use misleading or fraudulent recruitment practices, including misrepresenting pay, working conditions or the nature of the job
- Restrict a worker’s freedom of movement or ability to leave their employment
- Procure commercial sex acts while working on company business
Our employment practices
- We verify every employee’s identity and legal right to work, without retaining their original documents
- We provide clear written terms of employment, in a language the employee understands, before they start work
- We pay at least the applicable minimum wage, pay on time, and comply with working hours and overtime laws
- We use only reputable recruitment agencies that do not charge fees to candidates
Suppliers and business partners
We assess the risk of trafficking and forced labor when selecting suppliers, subcontractors and recruitment partners, and we include anti-trafficking requirements in our contracts. We expect our partners to hold their own suppliers to the same standards. If we find that a partner has breached these requirements, we will work with them to put things right, and we may end the relationship.
Reporting concerns
Anyone who suspects human trafficking or forced labor connected to our business should report it to company leadership or by email to contact@radiantcts.com. Concerns can be raised in confidence, and we do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
In the United States, you can also contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline, which is free and confidential and available 24 hours a day: call 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733.
Consequences of a breach
Breaching this policy may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or contract, and we will report suspected criminal activity to the appropriate authorities.
Training and review
Our employees, and particularly those involved in hiring, procurement and supplier management, receive training on how to recognize and report signs of trafficking and forced labor. Leadership reviews this policy at least once a year and updates it as laws and our business change.
